Case Story - We Helped a Customer with Carpet Water Damage
We have a lovely team at our company and every one of our carpet cleaning professionals has experience in the field. In other words, we have seen many dirty carpets and faced many cases with carpet water damage. The case of Mr. Anderson was one of the most difficult ones. He actually called to report that part of his carpet was soaked. He told us that he already called a plumber and fixed the leaking problem, but we had to do something about his carpet. We consider such problems very serious and fortunately our company provides us with the equipment we need in order to deal with them effectively. These problems are serious because water can really cause worse trouble if mold grows and that's why we immediately responded to Mr. Anderson's call.
When we got to his house, we realized that the soaked carpet was in the basement
The client uses the basement as an office, but there were barely any windows and natural light. It would be harder for us to remove the bad odor and that's why it's a good thing we have such good equipment and terrific products. Mildew inspection was one of our first priorities. We had to check every part of the carpet and lift it in order to check the subfloor in order to provide the right service. Since we are experts in water damage restoration, we weren't intimidated by the problem but had to wear our special customs for our own protection.
We also asked Mr. Anderson to stay out of the basement since we didn't want him to breathe the bad odor soaked carpets emit. Luckily, there were no signs of mildew yet. We used our dehumidifiers to dry every part of the carpet and cleaned up the entire area. We have been offering flood cleanup for years and so it wasn't a difficult task for us after all. The significant thing was that we managed to dry the whole carpet before we carried on to clean it. We consider carpet cleaning very important and also an excellent way to remove all odors and stains. One common thing among all colleagues is that we all want to do our job efficiently. So, we made sure the carpet was perfectly clean and 100% dry before leaving.
When Mr. Anderson came down to check out the results of our work, he was excited. He said that he never expected such good carpet service and complete odor removal. I guess we made an impression but our sole purpose was not to impress him but to do our job right. I gather that one thing brings the other. By doing our job properly, we allow our customers to enjoy their work and living environment – and this is what really matters.
